Otah Buns

This is one of my favorite bun. It stay soft until the next day.








Original recipe is from FB friend - June Chan
Ingredients:-
450g bread flour
50g top flour
10g milk powder
80g sugar
8g yeast
7g salt
1 egg
80g yakult
180g cold water
60g butter

Filling:-
2 packet of New moon Otah. Cut it into cube. Bake (140c) or fried till slightly dry and cooked. Chopped into small pieces. Set a side.

Method:-
1) Sock 16 pcs of dumpling leaves in water and wash clean. Dry it with towel.
2) Fold into a cone shape. Trim it up like a cup. Ready to use.
3) Mix all the ingredients except butter.
4) Mix till a dough is formed, add in butter continue to mix till you get smooth and elastic dough.
5) let it prove for an hour or till double the size.
6) divide the dough into 50g each and shape it. Prove for another 10 mins.
7) Flatten dough and place Otah filling in the center and roll it into a small ball. Put into the dumpling cone.
8) let it prove for 50 mins or double the size.
10) Egg wash and bake at 160C for 15 - 18 mins.
11) Grease with butter when remove from oven.
